Happy Halloween

This bowl has been sitting in our house for a couple of days and no one has touched it! I think this is the first year in a long time that I haven't bought Halloween candy in September and eaten my fair share of Reeses all month long. Tonight I may just have to steal a couple:0

Monday.....

I woke up this morning and thought it was Sunday - boy this weekend went by way too fast. We had a nice relaxing weekend spent with family just the way we like it. I didn't get as much done as planned but I did complete a super fast layout because I had to get Rick down in the archives:) O.K. now I'll stop talking about him. Did you see him on Oprah? O.K. really I'll stop talking about him.

I'm off to get some work done and enjoy a nice dinner with the boys. I'll post more this week. Looking forward to the Halloween weekend. Hoping for cooler weather.....come on already - bring it!

Getting Crafty.....

I spent today making things. It felt good to get the creative juices flowing. I had a day off and my mom picked Spence up from school so I had a nice day which started at the gym and then home to a clean house (did that yesterday) hung out with Daisy Dog - lit pumpkin candles and had a movie on in the background while I worked away - Halloween - a classic. We watch it at least two or three times in the month of October. Here is a layout I did for American Crafts weekly challenge.


I love AC. The challenge is to use a black and white photo with 2 AC products. Basically the whole layout is American Crafts with the exception of the white brad.

Off to make soup. Bill has been sick with the flu since Friday night - major sick! We have been eating a lot of soup but that is fine with me. It's easy since I'm cooking;0 I'm lucky Bill normally cooks every night - yes I'm REALLY lucky:)

Happy Birthday Baby!

Happy Birthday to Bill! We are the same age for another month:)

I have to use this picture of him again - it's too cute!!!! We are celebrating with the family this weekend. He deserves a good birthday he works hard and he is an all around good guy. He is my best friend and I love him!

Tonight we are having left over lasagne from the weekend. It is tradition that I make it for his birthday and I think we barely made a dent in it. So he can have as much as he wants tonight with birthday cake and we are going to watch The Proposal. A relaxing evening:)

And then we went to brunch on Sunday but I didn't really take any pictures. It was a very nice weekend. Just wanted to share some photo's. I have a lot more but I'm trying to be productive today and so far I have been stalling - BIG TIME! So I'm off to get some work done.
